We have a new vacancy suitable for a senior trainee or part qualified actuary for a multinational Life insurer based in Dublin. The role will involve supporting the group Chief Actuary and it is a great opportunity to develop your financial reporting and valuations skills. Duties of the role will include but not be limited to the following:
Assisting the actuarial function in drafting the annual valuation and financial condition report
Supporting the ongoing reporting under Solvency II
Providing feedback to the Senior Actuary on product handling on regulatory issues that may affect product pricing
Updating and maintaining procedures and providing high quality documentation on financial
Ideally candidates will have experience in a Life Assurance background with regulatory reporting experience. Knowledge of Prophet or a similar model application, and knowledge of Solvency II is desired. You should have good communication skills and be making good progress with the actuarial exams.
