Role: Actuarial Analyst
Will Consider: Candidates from Life Insurance, Investment
Level: Trainee or Part Qualified Actuary
Location: Dublin city centre
My client is a multinational insurer who are looking to expand their actuarial team in Dublin. The role will involve being a key contributor to the organisation’s Economic Scenario Generation (ESG) models. This is an exciting opportunity for actuaries looking for a technical role to develop experience in the pricing and management of investment risk.
Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to the following duties:
Producing scheduled and ad hoc sets of economic scenarios
Develop a thorough understanding of the ESG models and drive improvements to the models, tools and processes
Assist actuarial team members with developing and maintaining the organisation’s suite of capital models
Contribution to ad hoc analysis and participate in cross functional projects across the actuarial teams
Candidates should have an actuarial degree or alternatively a degree with a finance or investment focus. They are hiring for a Trainee Actuary from a Life and/or Investment background and experience working in these areas, financial risk management, or modelling/management of investment products would be an advantage. The organisation will consider more senior individuals with ESG experience and/or ST6 and who are at a higher level than the role requirements.
