Our client is a European reinsurance business seeking a Capital and Risk Actuary to join their Dublin based team. This role will report directly to the CRO and will play a key part in the company’s Solvency II production process and implementation of their ERM framework.
More specifically the Capital and Risk Actuary will be responsible for:
- Coordinating SCR calculations on a quarterly basis and working with other teams based around Europe.
- Reviewing, developing and enhancing current quarterly processes.
- Involvement in the preparation of other aspects of quarterly risk reporting such as Risk Dashboards and Risk Registers.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual ORSA report.
Candidates suitable for this Capital and Risk Actuary role will be qualified actuaries with 5+ years non-life experience, preferably with reinsurance exposure but now essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical actuarial issues to wider, non-actuarial audiences is also highly desirable.
