Our client is a large multinational company looking for a nearly, newly, or part qualified actuary to fill the role of Head of Validation to report directly to the Head of the Actuarial Department. The successful candidate will provide validation of the Technical Provisions of the Quarterly MVBS, the assumption set, and other financial reporting tasks. The role also involves providing support to the actuarial team and the accountant of the division in preparation of statutory and regulatory Financial Reports. Candidates must have experience working in a life insurance department. This job requires less experience than traditional ‘Head of’ roles, and thus is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to move their career in a more senior direction.
Those interested in the Head of Validation role should meet the following requirements;
- Part Qualified actuary with no more than four outstanding exams or a Fully Qualified actuary
- Experience in Embedded Value Market Consistent valuations and actuarial stochastic models
- 3-5 years experience in an actuarial life insurance department
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
