We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced operational risk professional join a leading Global Insurer as an Enterprise Risk Manager. This position is based in Dublin City Centre is a Hybrid position. This position will report directly into the CRO and would ideally suit somebody coming from General Insurance or Reinsurance.
Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid Working).
Benefits: Salary circa 100k + market leading benefits.
About the Enterprise Risk Manager role
Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinating branch operational risk assessments with branch risk managers as well as Leading operational risk assessments for the legal entity.
- Reviewing and attesting to Solvency II policies.
- Supporting CBI core risk assessments.
- Contributing to the Operational Risk Self-Assessment (ORSA) and Recovery Plan.
- Developing risk team members through support, oversight, and performance management.
- Enhancing operational risk assessment methodologies across the branch network.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the risk management framework.
Actuarial Skills required
Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:
- Exceptional networking and influencing capabilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience in Solvency II and ORSA essential.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- People management experience is preferred.
- Over five years’ experience in operational risk general insurance.
