About the Position
This is an exciting internal audit role as you get exposure to different teams and various areas of the business. The company are looking for a part or newly qualified actuary to take on the role of an internal consultant, reporting to the Head of Audit.
Duties for the life actuarial audit manager role include (but are not limited to):
- Performing audits related to financial, insurance and model risks
- Assist in defining the Ireland and Europe Finance Insurance and Model Risk audit plan
- Writing reports and communicating with various teams
Actuarial Skills Required
The successful candidate will come from a life insurance background and have general actuarial experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Product pricing and reserving
- Solvency II
- Economic Capital
- Capital management
- Risk management and/or IFRS.
