Life Actuarial Graduate Role 

One of Irelands largest life insurance providers is seeking an actuarial graduate to join their Actuarial Planning and Analysis team. This role comes with a fully supported study package, a hybrid working policy and the opportunity to learn from more senior actuaries. 

About the role

This position will involve working with other actuaries throughout the business to actively contribute to the delivery of overall financial and business performance. This role offers the opportunity to broaden and diversify a range of technical and actuarial skills.   

Duties of the position include (but are not limited to): 

  • The review and calculation of Solvency II requirements  
  • Supporting the calculation of stress and scenario testing  
  • Producing reports for senior management as required  
  • Maintaining relationships with peers and internal/external parties   

Actuarial skills required

The successful applicant will be an actuarial graduate. Previous life Insurance experience is desirable. Additional requirements include: 

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong analytical abilities
