Life Reporting Actuary

We are working on an exciting new opportunity for a Life Reporting Actuary to join a market-leading life insurance provider on their Actuarial Reporting team. This role will allow a qualified life actuary to further diversify their actuarial skill set while learning from and working with other experienced actuaries. 

About the role

The Life Reporting Actuary will focus on regulatory reporting requirements such as SII results, IFRS reserves, QRT’s, SFCR and RSR etc. The role will also involve model development, oversight and reinsurance management.  

Duties of the position include (but are not limited to): 

  • Reviewing and calculating Solvency II requirements 
  • Maintaining working relationships across all areas of the business 
  • Production and review of IFRS and ORSA results 
  • Providing reports to senior managers and executives as required 

Actuarial skills required

The successful applicant will be a qualified actuary with experience of Solvency II and actuarial modeling. Additional requirements include: 

  • Experience in the life insurance sector 
  • Ability to prepare and present materials to senior forums 
  • Strong communication skills
