Life Senior Manager – Consultancy

We are looking for a senior qualified life actuary to join a well-known consultancy in Dublin. The successful candidate will join the Actuarial, Rewards, and Analytics team as a Senior Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join one of Ireland’s leading actuarial service providers.

About the role

The Senior Manager will join a team of 40 in the company’s Actuarial, Rewards & Analytics practise. The role has arisen within the practice to support the growth and further development of the organisation’s life insurance footprint. The work will be both challenging and varied exposing the individual to a wide range of actuarial work in strategic, commercial and business contexts.

Duties for the Senior Manager role will include (but not be limited to):

  • Lead actuarial teams undertaking reserving and review work
  • Contribute to a wide variety of ongoing consulting projects
  • Establish and manage good client relationships
  • Support the growth of the practise

Actuarial skills required

This opportunity is open to senior life qualified actuaries with at least 10 years experience in the industry. Candidates should also have:

  • A deep understanding of the Life Insurance market
  • The ability to maintain client relationships
  • A knowledge of IFRS17
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Past experience in a management role
