About the Role
The life valuations senior actuary will support the technical provisions quarterly process for the company, amongst other responsibilities. The role will also involve acting as a point of contact across a variety of projects including Solvency II and IFRS17. This individual will work closely with other teams and departments.
Duties for the role include (but are not limited to):
- Provide support in the reporting and Solvency II process
- Involvement in the reporting process including the production of QRTS and TPs
- Prepare reports, and maintain and improve documentation processes
- Monitor the controls process
- Reserve Review for best estimate reserves and statutory reserves
Actuarial Skills Required
This role will suit a strong, technical qualified actuary with several years experience in life insurance/reinsurance. Previous experience in reserving, pricing, or valuations will be a distinct advantage. Strong communication and IT skills are essential.
