About the role

More information about the role. The post should have about The Reserving Analyst will join a team of 3 and will report to the Reserving Team Lead. The successful candidate will enjoy a company culture that focuses on employee development and work-life balance. 

Responsibilities for the Reserving Analyst role include but are not limited to: 

  • Calculation of reserves 
  • Development and testing of new methodologies 
  • Provide technical help to relevant governance committees 
  • Assist in meeting Solvency II requirements 
  • Updating reserving policies  

Actuarial skills required

This role would suit a part-qualified actuary with previous actuarial experience. Experience with SAS, SQL, VBA, and knowledge of reserving techniques is a distinct advantage. Strong communication skills are essential.
