Risk Analyst/ Actuary required by life insurance provider in Dublin city. The company are offering this role as either a permanent position or on a two-year fixed term contract. Although their offices are based in Dublin city, the role will involve working from home to start with. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at a crucial time in its development.
About the Position
The Risk Analyst/Actuary will join a small Risk team of three individuals. The role will involve supporting the CRO on various risk management tasks and some duties for the role include (but are not limited to):
- Liaising with various Stakeholders where required
- Participate in developing the risk framework including its design, implementation, and upkeep.
- Perform second line risk assurance and analyse emerging risks to the company
- Contribute to the risk capital assessment process and facilitate the risk and control self-assessment process.
Actuarial Skills Required
The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified life insurance Actuary with previous Risk experience. Solvency II experience is essential. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this role.
