Senior Actuary/Actuary – Part-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a well-known insurance company in Dublin. The company is looking for a qualified Senior Actuary/Actuary who has extensive experience in reporting and Solvency II. This position has the option to be completed on a part-time basis. The company is open to candidates from both a life and non-life insurance background.

About the role

The Senior Actuary/Actuary position is a senior-level position. The successful candidate will be working closely with the HOAF and will have a number of varying responsibilities, including:

  • Aiding in the risk capital quantification under Solvency II
  • Quarterly production to determine reserves and risk margins
  • Conducting actuarial function reports
  • Oversight of more junior staff

Actuarial skills required

The position would ideally suit a qualified actuary with several years of experience in either life or non-life financial reporting/reserving and Solvency II. Other essential criteria include:

  • Previous project management experience
  • Ability to liaise and effectively communicate with others
