We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Qualified Actuary to join a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services as a Senior Non-life Manager – Risk Consulting. This position is based in Dublin City Centre. This position would suit a Qualified Actuary with several years post-qualified experience ideally in a non-life /reinsurance or non-life consultancy position. Previous experience in the following is advantageous, IFRS 17, Solvency II, Financial Reporting and Capital and Risk Management.
About the Senior Non-life Manager– Risk Consulting role
Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Delivery and management of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, both internally and externally.
- Lead client interactions and build market profile.
- Drive the production of client deliverables while assisting and managing junior colleagues.
- Identify Client specific needs while positively promoting strategy services and values.
Actuarial Skills required
Our client is looking to find a Qualified Actuary with several years relevant experience in a non-life role. Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:
- Working experience of IFRS 17.
- Excellent technical skills with an awareness of the challenges facing the non- life insurance industry.
- Flexible and pragmatic individual.
- Leading a team
- Disciplined with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong written, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of confidently and professionally dealing with clients.
