We have an exciting new opportunity for Qualified Actuary to join a well-known financial reinsurance firm. This position is based in Dublin city centre and has a hybrid working policy.
About the Senior Qualified Actuary role
- Manage the balance sheet projection work, playing a pivotal role in delivering the annual business plan and Financial Condition Testing.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders across Actuarial Reporting, Business, Risk, and Finance functions to produce insightful analyses, projections, stress tests, and scenario analyses.
- Interpret complex data, draft clear documentation, and effectively communicate key insights will be crucial in driving informed decision-making.
- Deepen your understanding of a diverse portfolio of risks, contributing to the development of financial projection capabilities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Actuarial Skills Required
This position would suit a Qualified Actuary who has 5 years’ post-qualification experience and ideally have experience of the following:
- Qualified Actuary min. 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong skills in balance sheet projections and scenario analysis.
- Experience in cash flow modelling, financial reporting, capital reporting, and/or ALM reporting.
- Proficiency in actuarial modelling software, data management, and data visualisation
