A well-renowned life insurance company is seeking a senior qualified actuary to join their reporting team as a Senior Reporting Life Manager. The candidate will have the opportunity to report directly to the Head of Actuarial Function.
About the role
This company is looking for a Senior Reporting Life Manager to cover maternity leave on an 18-month fixed-term contract basis. This position has the possibility of evolving into a permanent senior management role dependent on performance.
Duties for the Senior Reporting Life Manager role will include (but not be limited to):
- Managing a small team of qualified actuaries.
- Reporting directly to the Head of Actuarial Function.
- Delivery of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, including client relationships.
Actuarial skills required
The successful candidate will be a qualified life actuary with at least 4 years post qualification experience. Strong skills in financial reporting are required. Reinsurance and longevity experience are highly desirable.
