Our client, a leading global reinsurance organisation, is seeking a Senior Underwriting Analyst to join its Group Planning & Performance Management team based in Dublin on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity to act as a trusted business partner to senior underwriting leadership, delivering high-quality analysis and insight that supports underwriting performance, strategic decision-making, and financial planning across a non-life portfolio. You will work closely with underwriting, finance, operations, and accounting teams in a highly collaborative, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to senior underwriting leadership, providing insightful analysis and performance reporting to support decision-making
- Deliver underwriting production planning and outlook reporting on an underwriting year and quarterly basis
- Support Business Units in quarterly performance and operations reviews, providing a holistic view of results
- Review and challenge premium estimates, underwriting assumptions, and business unit submissions
- Support credit risk assessments, commutations, audit requests, and strong governance processes
About You
- 2 – 5 years of professional experience ,preferably in underwriting operations, general insurance, pricing, or a related (re)insurance role
- Strong understanding of the (re)insurance value chain, underwriting KPIs, and non-life reinsurance concepts
- Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel capability; experience with Power BI and Power Query is advantageous
- Detail-oriented with a commercial mindset and experience engaging with senior stakeholders
