Our client, a multinational insurance provider is looking for a Trainee Risk Actuary to join their non-life Risk Function in Dublin. If you are looking to develop your risk experience and want a dynamic role in a growing environment, then this could be the role for you.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of ERM, the Trainee Risk Actuary will support the delivery of the Risk Management Framework. This is an interesting position that will enable you to broaden and diversify your skills while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities for the Trainee Risk Actuary role will include (but are not be limited to):
- Support on various areas within the risk management process.
- Assist in the delivery of the ORSA.
- Delivery, implementation and maintenance of the risk framework.
- Involvement in annual review of the Risk Appetite and monitoring of risks.
- Support the Head of ERM, CRO and other senior stakeholders in risk management activities.
Actuarial Skills Required
The Trainee Risk Actuary role would suit a part-qualified or nearly qualified actuary with previous risk management experience. The company are open to candidates from both a non-life and life insurance background. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry and regulatory risk management developments, this role would suit someone with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
