Our client has an exciting opportunity for graduate actuaries to gain invaluable experience as a Trainee Actuary within their Life Insurance organisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in financial reporting to shareholders and managers, for example US GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II. The role also includes the reviewing of products to ensure they are administered correctly, the performance of experience investigations, and supporting the actuarial team in the production of financial projections. This role will report to the Actuarial Reporting Manager and the Business Actuary. The role includes a full study package.
Graduate Actuaries interested in this role should meet the following requirements;
- A minimum 2.1 degree in Actuarial Science or other relevant degree
- Strong PC skills – a knowledge of Excel, DCS, and Prophet is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An eagerness to learn new skills
