This is a central position to the organisation’s Risk function, which will involve working in a cross functional manner to maintain and further develop the existing ORSA process, as well as delivering all other Solvency II related reporting processes that require significant risk related input. The role will report directly to the CRO.
The responsibilities for the Non-life Risk Actuary will include:
- Managing, driving, validating and coordinating all aspects of the ORSA process and ORSA reports – quantitative and qualitative.
- Taking a leading role in the development and delivery of stress and scenario testing as part of the overall ORSA process.
- Supporting and developing all inputs required from the Risk Function to the Regular Supervisory Report (RSR) and the Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR).
- Engaging proactively with the Head of Actuarial Function (HoAF) to ensure all inputs required by the HoAF from the Risk Function are delivered on time and to a required standard.
This role is suitable for qualified actuaries with a minimum 4 years’ non-life experience, preferably in a Risk function. Non-life reserving experience is also advantageous. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Solvency II, with a particular focus on Pillar 2 requirements and deliverables.
