Our Dublin based client is a leading insurance company who seeks to employ an IT Actuarial Analyst to join their System team. The successful candidate will join a team of 15 who are a mix of IT systems experts, part qualified actuaries and business analysts. The role will give an opportunity to enhance both technical and communication skills, working with both the IT teams and the business.

Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Interpreting and Documenting system requirements
  • Using Excel for modelling of premium calculations
  • Testing
  • Troubleshooting
  • Risk analysis
  • Staying up to date with changes in technology and the actuarial landscape to advise the business of new developments.

The ideal candidate will be a Part Qualified actuary with  IT skills and an interest in increasing their IT systems, and Business Analysis skills. This role would suit a Part Qualified actuary with a minimum of 3 years experience in the Life insurance industry.  The organisation are particularly interested in individuals that no longer wants to pursue the actuarial exams.
