We are looking for a Risk Actuary to join one of of our clients here in Dublin. The role has come about through promotion and the organisation are looking for a qualified actuary with strong communication skills. The role is a senior role in further developing and embedding the risk management framework throughout the company. Duties for the Risk Actuary will include performing the quarterly Solvency Capital calculations, coordinate elements of the ORSA, and contribute to the development of the Risk Appetite Statements, amongst other responsibilities.
The successful candidate will report directly to the CRO, and will also provide day to day advice to all business and support units on risk management matters.
Individuals interested in the Risk Actuary Role should meet the following requirements;
- Qualified Actuary with a minimum of 5 years experience – ideally candidates will also hold the CERA certification
- Candidates will already have Solvency II knowledge and ideally experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
