We have a really exciting opportunity for a partly qualified GI pricing actuary to join a major multinational insurance company in Dublin as a ‘Senior Actuarial Analyst.’ As well as delivering pricing analyses to different sectors and stakeholders within the company, the successful candidate will be producing work that will influence decision making. The successful candidate will be expected to take high levels of initiative in the role, ensuring the pricing strategy of the company is of a high standard, as well as ensuring the validity and reliability of the company’s data. The Senior Actuarial Analyst will also provide guidance to less senior employees in the pricing department so as to help in their learning and development. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pricing analyst to move in to a more senior position within a major multinational company.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Actuarial Analyst role will meet the following criteria:
- 2+ years experience of working in a GI pricing role
- Demonstrable recent progress in becoming a qualified actuary
- Knowledge of at least one of Emblem, RADAR, Classifier, or ResQ
- Knowledge of the commercial side of GI, and how it can be effected by analytical information
