Our client is a multinational insurance company looking to hire a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join their General Insurance team as Technical Pricing Lead. This role will involve the delivery of monthly reports on key forward-looking profitability indicators and leading technical pricing projects across multiple lines of business within the company. The successful candidate will be expected to improve the company’s assessment of Technical Prices and to make pricing recommendations to Line of Business heads and underwriters. As this is a senior role, it will also involve the leading and directing of more junior members of the team.
Candidates interested in the Technical Pricing Lead role should meet the following criteria:
- Newly or nearly qualified actuary
- Several years pricing experience ideally gained in a GI environment
- Strong modelling and scenario-testing skills, specifically in working with Emblem and Radar software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A keen knowledge of, and interest in, the commercial aspect of the General Insurance industry
