Trainee Actuary for Risk Analyst Role
Great opportunity for a trainee actuary to join a leading international insurance organisation in the position of Risk Analyst. The risk analyst will resport to a senior Actuary and be a key member of the risk department. This risk analyst is responsible for the quantitative elements within the company’s risk department. Other key responsibilities include:
- Consolidating all Solvency II updates and having an active role in these developments
- Assisting with the production of Risk Capital figures under the Standard Formula
- Model key business aspects that are being investigated by the company (e.g ALM, Premium and Reserve Risk modelling)
- Support the company’s ORSA, this includes producing stress and scenario testing and risk analysis.
My client is willing to consider applicants coming from a Health, Life and Non-Life actuarial backgrounds. Candidates will ideally have 3 years’ actuarial experience but candidates with 2 years’ may also be considered. Ideal candidates will have a strong Solvency II knowledge and actuarial modelling skills, particularly with ALM.
