Carina is the Managing Partner of Raretec Recruitment Ltd and personally specialises in the Life Insurance side of the business. Carina has over 20 years’ recruitment experience, including 4 years as a trainer of in-house recruiters globally.

Kate Henebry
Associate Director
Having joined Raretec in mid-2022, Kate was appointed Manager in January 2024 and Associate Director in January 2025. She specialises in the junior to mid-level actuarial roles in the life, non-life and pensions sectors from Graduate and Part-Qualified to Qualified Actuaries, and has played a pivotal role in developing our graduate and internship program for aspiring Actuaries. She studied for her MA in Shakespeare Studies from Kings College, London and holds a BA in English Literature & French from Trinity College.

Grace Caraher
Associate Director
Grace is an Associate Director in Raretec Recruitment Ltd. and specialises in placing senior qualified Actuaries across Life, Non-life and Pensions sectors in Ireland.
Grace has 10 years’ experience recruiting senior roles across the financial services sector predominantly in insurance, asset management and banking.
She manages key client relationships, developing long-term partnerships by providing ongoing recruitment services, market data, and salary benchmarking and has a proven track record of effectively matching professionals with suitable companies, considering both their skillset and cultural compatibility.

Lead Researcher
Kathryn is a Lead Researcher who joined the Raretec division in 2025. She supports project-based work that enables the recruitment of actuarial professionals across the life, non-life, and pensions sectors, from Graduate and Part-Qualified to Qualified Actuaries. With several years of experience in talent acquisition, Kathryn has a strong background in public sector recruitment. Her expertise in client and candidate relationship management, coupled with her keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills, ensures a seamless recruitment process. Kathryn is dedicated to delivering successful outcomes for both clients and candidates alike, ensuring a high-quality hiring experience at every stage of the process.
