Actuarial Qualification Scheme – Part V – Specialist Advanced (SA)
The Specialist Advanced modules cover the same material as the previous Specialist Applications subjects. One significant change here is that the Finance (SA5) and Investment (SA6) modules have been combined into a new subject (Investment & Finance) SA7. The majority of the new syllabus in SA7 covers the material covered in SA6 with some corporate finance objectives from SA5.
Each of the Specialist Advanced exams will continue to be examined by a single 3 hour 15-minute paper during the April and September exam sittings.

I would highly recommend using this company when looking for any actuarial role in the Irish market from non-life to life Throughout the whole process Rebecca helped me through each step and was always really quick to provide updates and feedback from the application process, through the interview process all the way up to the acceptance stage.
I recently secured a new role through Raretec. They were very knowledgeable and provided various opportunities for me to consider. I dealt with Rebecca, who was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an actuarial role.
I have worked with Jacqui and her team a number of times over the past 10 years both as a candidate and as a hiring manager. I have always found her very easy to work with and I've been successful in securing some very interesting and challenging positions. I'd recommend Raretec to anyone looking for a role.
I would recommend Raretec Recruitment to any actuarial graduate who's searching for job opportunities. Staff very friendly and communicative, providing guidance and aiding with interview preparations, can't emphasize this enough, but Raretec was critical in my success at acquiring a job placement. Staff will reach out frequently with appropriate job listings according to your job preferences. Help and support provided on demand, very sharp at providing answers to questions. Overall would rate Raretec as an excellent recruitment agency. Would recommend to a friend.

I recently reached out to Raretec to assist me in securing a new actuarial role. Carina Devlin promptly responded to my request and couldn’t have been more helpful, from the initial chat about what I was seeking right through to the onboarding process in my new role. The service was both friendly and highly professional and I would highly recommend Raretec, and in particular Carina to anyone seeking a change in roles.

Carina and the team went above and beyond to help me find my new Actuarial role. Their advice was always tailored to my specific situation and the interview preparation was invaluable. I couldn’t have asked for more! I highly recommend Carina and Raretec if you are searching for a new Actuarial role.
I was represented by Raretec Recruitment in the Irish Actuarial market for a mid to senior level opportunity. At Raretec, I was represented by Carina Devlin and had a very positive experience. As the first step, she was able to understand and match my skill set with the correct opportunities, thus helping me identify the best roles available. Carina was very professional and efficient during my application for an actuarial consulting role in Dublin. Through the process she was able to provide detailed advice regarding the job market and conducted focused interview preparation guidance sessions as well. I received extensive support even after securing an offer resulting in a smooth relocation process. I would highly recommend Raretec and Carina in assisting candidates with Actuarial opportunities.
Couldn’t speak highly enough of Raretec. Got me my dream job which was not an easy task as had been out of the financial sector for several years. Harrie and Rebecca were very friendly and approachable and prepared me well for the interview which I passed. Whole process was very smooth and think I would still be on the job market without them. Thanks!
