An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified actuary to join a multinational insurance company based in Dublin as a Reserving Analyst – French Speaking. The successful candidate must speak fluent French and English. The position is based in Dublin and has hybrid working options.
About the Reserving Analyst – French Speaking Role
The Reserving Analyst position will report to the Reserving Team Leader and is ideal for a motivated team player.
Duties for the role include (but are not limited to):
- Calculation of reserves
- Development and testing of new methodologies
- Review of Technical and Reinsurance accounts
- Liaise with the Solvency II team around the interpretation of results
Actuarial Skills Required
This role would suit a Part Qualified actuary with 2-3 years’ experience. Our client will consider individuals from both a Life or Non Life background and those who ideally have experience of the following:
- Fluent written and spoken French and English. (Knowledge of other European languages is advantageous)
- Strong IT skills are required for this role including Excel, SAS, SQL, and VBA
- Knowledge of Reserving techniques is a clear advantage.
- Excellent communication skills
