Our client is recruiting a Non-Life Actuarial Senior Manager to join its Financial Services Actuarial team on a permanent basis. The position is based in Dublin.
The team provides a broad range of actuarial consulting and assurance services across the non-life insurance sector, working on both local and international engagements. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse projects and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects
- Take responsibility for client relationships and the performance of internal project teams
- Drive the production of high-quality client deliverables with a strong emphasis on collaboration
- Assist with the management, mentoring and development of junior actuarial colleagues
- Contribute to research and development initiatives to support technical excellence
- Adopt an account management mindset, identifying and responding to client needs
- Lead client interactions and build a strong external market profile
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Qualified actuary with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, ideally including reserving or related non-life actuarial experience
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Experience with non-life actuarial software such as RESQ, WinRes or Arius
- Strong awareness of and interest in the key challenges facing the non-life insurance industry
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: IFRS17, Solvency II, financial reporting, audit, capital or actuarial consulting
