Our client, a leading international reinsurance company based in Dublin, has an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Actuary to join their Actuarial Reporting team as Senior Manager in a permanent position. This role offers exposure to both traditional and innovative reinsurance solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As Senior Manager – Actuarial Reporting, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting across a diverse reinsurance portfolio. Working closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts, you will oversee the consolidation of reporting outputs, support the implementation of new transactions, and drive improvements in automation and reporting efficiency.
This position provides the opportunity to take ownership of high-profile deliverables, contribute to strategic initiatives, and manage the development of actuarial trainees within a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, consolidate, and interpret financial reporting results from transaction reporting teams.
- Draft clear and concise documentation, presenting key insights to senior management.
- Prepare quarterly Actuarial Certificates for review.
- Support the integration of new transactions into financial reporting processes.
- Drive improvements to automate and enhance reporting efficiency and controls.
- Manage relationships with internal/external audit and peer review.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a trainee actuary.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Actuary with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical background in actuarial reporting and financial reporting.
- Proven stakeholder management and leadership experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint (SQL desirable).
