Senior Manager, Capital Reporting & Analysis

We’re delighted to support a global reinsurer in their search for a Senior Manager, Capital Reporting & Analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a collaborative actuarial function, focusing on capital reporting, solvency analysis, and actuarial oversight. The team delivers core actuarial reporting, capital projections, and risk analysis, while supporting strategic decision-making through deep insights into solvency and capital requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quarterly Solvency II actuarial reporting, including technical provisions, SCR, solvency position, and movement analysis.
  • Oversee production of QRTs and collaborate with Finance to deliver the Solvency II return.
  • Prepare the Actuarial Function Report on an annual basis.
  • Deliver capital projections under Solvency II and LICAT to support planning and strategic reviews.
  • Lead sensitivity and scenario testing for ORSA, FCT, and business planning.
  • Manage and develop a team of actuarial professionals, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Actuary (FSAI or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in life insurance.
  • Strong technical expertise in capital reporting and solvency frameworks (Solvency II / LICAT).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective leader with experience in motivating and developing teams.
