We’re seeking an experienced product professional to join on a 12-month contract. Based in either Navan or Dublin, you’ll lead proposition development through its full lifecycle evaluation, design, delivery, and review ensuring products remain attractive, profitable, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and review propositions throughout their lifecycle, ensuring commercial viability, compliance, and strong customer outcomes.
- Design new product features (including charging structures, commission, death benefits, underwriting and reinsurance) while incorporating tax and legal requirements.
- Lead product delivery from concept to implementation, including specifications, testing, and stakeholder management.
- Manage change and regulatory initiatives, implementing product and process updates driven by small change requests or new regulations (IDD, PRIIPs, MiFID, Solvency II).
- Engage stakeholders and distributors to shape competitive propositions and ensure smooth cross-functional delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Professional qualification (Actuarial or Financial) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in product development or technical roles within life insurance.
- Knowledge of IDD, PRIIPs, MiFID, Solvency II and familiarity with policy administration systems.
- Experience with market analysis, customer research and distribution management.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly MS Excel.
