As Executive Manager, International Markets, you will play a key role in driving expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Head of International Markets, you will lead pricing teams in structuring and underwriting complex reinsurance transactions, while building strong relationships with clients and supporting ambitious international growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and structure bespoke reinsurance solutions that optimise regulatory capital for clients.
- Lead complex, innovative transactions from development through completion.
- Build and manage client relationships to achieve new business targets.
- Underwrite, price, and recommend transactions in line with risk, pricing, tax, capital, and compliance frameworks.
- Negotiate commercial terms with client executives, advisors, and legal teams.
- Manage transaction approvals and prepare presentations for senior committees and boards.
What You’ll Bring
- Actuarial qualification with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in structuring complex reinsurance transactions or valuing life insurance portfolios in M&A.
- Strong due diligence skills – risk assessment, assumption setting, and balance sheet analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance regulatory frameworks and IFRS17.
- Commercially focused, ambitious, and highly motivated with the ability to drive business forward.
