Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking an Actuarial Non-Life Assistant Manager/Manager to join their expanding team in Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a firm recognised for delivering excellence across audit, assurance, consulting, and risk advisory services.
As part of their Actuarial, Rewards & Analytics practice, you’ll contribute to high-impact projects that combine technical rigour, innovation, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver core non-life actuarial engagements: reserving, product development, peer reviews, risk management, financial & regulatory reporting (IFRS 17, Solvency II), process reviews, portfolio transfers
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects: Data & AI strategy, M&A/due diligence, audits, ERM—partnering across audit, finance, consulting and risk
• Support HoAF reserving/review work and maintain strong client relationships
• Help grow the practice: recruitment, coaching/mentoring, research, proposals, and thought leadership on emerging topics (e.g., ESG)
About you
• Qualified actuary with substantial experience in Non-Life or Health (re)insurance
• Proven experience managing teams and/or projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Financial reporting experience: Solvency II and/or IFRS 17 (advantageous)
• Bonus: SAS/SQL/Python and/or credit risk modelling experience
