We have an exciting new opportunity for a Part Qualified Actuary to join a world-leading provider of trade credit insurance as a Non Life Actuarial Analyst. This position is based in Dublin City Centre. This position would suit a highly motivated part qualified actuary with 2-3 years’ experience ideally in a non-life position. A background in IFRS17 and reserving is advantageous.
About the Non Life Actuarial Analyst role
Duties for this Actuarial Analyst role include (but are not limited to):
- Aid in the production of Solvency II and IFRS17 Technical Provisions and the design, development and automation of key pricing and reserving processes for R.
- Support senior management in preparing and reporting information for senior management.
- Use pricing tools to assist the underwriting team in portfolio maintenance.
- Support ongoing trend analysis, parameter calibrations and audit requirements.
Actuarial Skills required
Our client is looking to find a Part Qualified Actuary with 2-3 years relevant experience in a non-life role. Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while checking own work and producing solutions.
- Skilled in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and VBA.
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in Ifrs17, Solvency II and coding languages such as R.
- Great attention to detail.
