We are currently seeking a Trainee Actuary to join a leading Global Insurance Group as a Product Systems Actuary on the Actuarial Team. This position is based in Dublin City Centre and provides services to Life Insurance Companies within the Group. The successful candidate will ideally have 1-2 years post graduate experience. The ideal candidate would have an understanding of unit linked products preferably in an international market.
About the Product Systems Actuary role
Duties for this Product Systems Actuary role include (but are not limited to):
- Processing of policy corrections and calculations of premiums payable to reinsurers.
- Cross functional collaboration to ensure necessary procedures to complete policy corrections.
- Produce reports for various departments and perform broker persistency reporting.
- Calculation of manual PP charges.
- Provide a timely service regarding non- standard illustrations.
Actuarial skills required
Our client is looking to find a Trainee Actuary with relevant experience. The Product Systems Actuary will work on Actuarial Operations. Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:
- 1-2 years post qualified experience.
- Independent worker with excellent analytical skills.
- Creative with the ability to organise, sort and interrogate data.
- Experience with similar projects is preferable.
- Great communication skills
